I had a great experience here and was pleasantly surprised. I came in about an hour before closing and got lucky with no line, which already set things off on a good note. Ordering was straightforward and customizable — you can choose between lean or fattier cuts of roast beef, select the size of your rice portion, and pick from a variety of sauces depending on your taste. I appreciated having those options since it lets you tailor the bowl exactly how you want it. The food was made fresh to order, and even though it was close to closing time, nothing felt rushed or pre-prepared. The beef was flavorful and tender, paired really well with the rice and sauce, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. I also didn’t have to wait long at all for my meal, which was a big plus. Overall, the quality of the food, the customization options, and the portion size make this place an excellent value for the price. Definitely a satisfying meal and a spot I’d come back to again, especially if I catch it during a slower time.

Our server was delightful and spoke English, which made communication very easy. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely amazing. We chose the non-wagyu option and I replaced the rice with a broccoli base, and it was under ¥2,000. Roast beef was very tender and the onion sauce was an excellent pairing. Lots of protein and a good amount of rice too. The horseradish gave it the extra kick to elevate the donburi to the next layer of flavour. Oxtail soup was light but would come back for the beef bowl alone. Afforadable for the amount of beef served too! The ambience is classic and clean, and they even provide warm water if you ask.

The beef was so tender and fresh. With their special soy sauce, it was simply AMAZING Personally preferred the normal “healthy” beef over Wahgyu, for a cleaner taste. We also loved that they let us choose the rice portion. We reached around 11am++ to avoid the lunch crowd as people started coming in around 12pm. The service was fast :)
